FiOS – How Much Better is it?

FiOS From Frontier

FiOS (FYE-ose) is short for Fiber Optic Service, you might hear someone refer to it as Fiber… We’re all talking about the same thing. Fiber-optic systems use strands of glass fiber and laser-generated pulses (laser are awesome, BTW) of light to transmit all kinds of of data: voice, video, video games, etc… at incredibly fast speeds. It’s the best available.

Frontier is now able to bring incredibly fast speeds to customers using the fiber optic networks throughout Arizona, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. FiOS from Frontier is also available in some parts of California. We’re expecting to expand and grow the network, so be sure to reach out to us and find out if FiOS is available in your area.
